DREADNOUGHTS & BATTLECRUISERS: HIGH SEAS DELUXE EDITION is a tactical World War I naval combat miniatures game. This 94-page color book includes full rules (standard and optional), game tables, 320 1/3000 scale warship facsimile counters within its pages representing individual ships (BB, BC, B, AC, CL, AMC types) primarily from Great Britain and Germany, plus representative ships from the national navies of France, Italy, Austria-Hungary, and Russia included as well. Comes with a dozen scenarios (including Dogger Bank and Jutland), solitaire rules, and extensive designer's notes. It is a miniatures, table top rules system that emphasizes playability and historicity. This edition adds refinements to the standard D&B system, along with new optional rules, and a fully solitaire game (based on Bob Flood's orginal design), making this edition the latest and most up-to-date version published. It is compatible with any previous D&B edition. The Deluxe Edition uses the same game system as the introductory D&B Captain's Edition, but with more comprehensive optional rules, almost 200 more ship counters, includes the D&B Baltic Module with ship counters from northern European neutral countries (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Netherlands), and is presented in color.
