The TEMCo TH0036 is engineered for the heaviest of cable-cutting jobs—offering massive capacity and robust, efficient mechanics. If you work with very large aluminum or copper electrical conductors (e.g. in industrial power distribution or heavy wiring projects), this cutter delivers heavy-duty performance with portable convenience.
- 1000 MCM Capacity — Cuts coarse-strand aluminum conductors up to 1000 MCM (≈ 500 mm²) and copper conductors up to 750 MCM (≈ 400 mm²). Will NOT cut any fine strand wire.
- Gives mechanical leverage for powerful cuts without needing to swing long manual cutters.
- Handles collapse/telescope to a shorter length (≈ 9.2 in collapsed, 11.5 in extended) for compact storage and use in tight spaces.
- Tempered, precision-ground shear action blades for clean cuts.
- Non-Insulated Tool — Not rated for live circuits. Use only on de-energized wire, and always take appropriate safety precautions.
