The Populated Universe: Life in the Universe May Very Well Be the Rule and Not the Exception

Is the Universe telling us something about mammals? Are they potentially a natural, universal form of life here and perhaps on other planets around distant stars? By looking at the chronology of life here on Earth we can make some educated guesses as to what path life elsewhere in the Universe may have taken.
